Charlie Graingers Franchising LLC Signs Area Representative in Mississippi - Growth Continues

Wilmington, NC – Charlie Graingers World Famous Hot Dogs, based out of Wilmington, NC, has begun their expansion in the southeast, signing franchise agreements for their restaurants in North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Louisiana, Florida and now Mississippi . Over the first six months of franchising, Charlie Graingers has secured commitments for 35 new locations.

Charlie Graingers is a “southern-street food” restaurant specializing in hot dogs, brisket, bbq, and chicken salad. Charlie Graingers is a revamp of the original Peacock Alley restaurant founded in 1939 in downtown Wilmington. Keeping in the tradition of the original Peacock Alley, Charlie Graingers serves homemade food in a down-home, fast-paced atmosphere.

Mike Naylor, Area Representative for Mississippi, states “The concept is different, it’s neat and simple, they’re true to what they do. I love the operation plus its crazy good food!” Chief Executive Officer, Jason Nista, added: “This is an amazing opportunity for Charlie Graingers and we are excited to partner with someone with as much experience as Mike has. Over the next few years we look forward to dotting Mississippi with the Charlie Graingers brand.” Charlie Graingers plans to have three stores open in Mississippi by the end of 2016. Naylor has plans to open many more locations beyond 2016, “I am excited to develop the Charlie Graingers brand. It’s going to be big.”

Charlie Graingers was founded in 2012 by Louis North on the location of the original Peacock Alley restaurant. North wanted to recreate the memories he had of the hot dog business of yesteryear. Over the last few years he has added slow-cooked brisket, chicken salad, and pimento cheese sandwiches to the menu to accompany the nitrate- and sulfate-free, fresh hot dogs and homemade soups and sides.

Charlie Graingers is looking to continue their expansion in the southeast over the remainder of the year. For an updated list on current locations, visit their website at http://www.charliegraingers.com/locations/
